What Squeeze does right, and what we should steal.

A read-only teardown of their website, Instagram, ads and reviews, put next to gmediaco.com. Every number was read from the source on 9/27/2026. Nothing is estimated unless it says so.

The short version.

Who they are

A 10-person, 3-owner, veteran-led full-service agency in Charleston (est. 2015). The pitch is personality plus proof: “Not your average marketing agency”, “We do it all”, “No contracts”, “No marketing guys”. Clients are local restaurants, breweries, home services, non-profits, plus a “Squeeze Defense” GovCon niche.

Why the site converts

Proof, not features. One dark hero with a looping video, ONE yellow “Get Started” button everywhere (sticky on mobile), 5 Spark award badges, a wall of about 45 client logos, an autoplay testimonial video, and 8 case studies of which 3 carry hard numbers (Low Tide 486 to 4,764 visits/month; Galpão Gaucho $5.60 to $0.85 per store visit).

Their marketing is modest

Instagram 4,043 followers at 1.6 posts a week, reels average 27 likes, carousels 18, no founder on camera. YouTube untouched for a year. TikTok 108 followers. Reviews are their real channel: Google 4.8 (30), Facebook 100% recommend (66), 133 reviews at 4.9 aggregated through Birdeye.

The post Luis saw is an ad

Two Meta video ads (0:47 and 0:34) have run since 9/18/2026 with the hook “No Outsourcing, No BS. Just Results.” and a “Schedule a call” CTA. The organic version did 1,422 views and 11 likes. The reach is bought, not earned.

Where G Media stands

Already ahead on published pricing, local SEO pages, blog depth, page speed, posting cadence and Google rating (5.0 on 25). Behind on proof (no case studies, no logos, no awards, no testimonial video), on one clear CTA (we have six different asks), and on a stated “why us”. The top 10 closes those gaps first.

 Scoreboard

Same size on Instagram. Very different proof.

01The ranked list

Ten moves G Media should copy.

Ranked by impact for effort. S is under a day, M a few days. “AI lever” names the tooling we already run that makes it cheap. Only G Media’s real services, no invented stats, no prices proposed.

1

Three case studies with real numbers

Challenge, what we did, result, one client quote. Start with a podcast client, a med spa and a real-estate team. Add a “Wanna see the numbers?” band on the homepage that links to them.

Why: Squeeze’s only hard proof lives here (880% traffic, $0.85 per store visit) and the homepage points straight at it. G Media has none today.

Effort MAI lever
Mission Control already holds every deliverable and post per client; the bot pulls IG, TikTok and YouTube stats and drafts each study. Only the client’s permission and quote need a human.
2

A testimonial video on the homepage

45 to 60 seconds, three or four clients on camera, autoplay muted with a play button, under a header like “Our results speak for themselves (and so do our clients)”.

Why: Squeeze runs one autoplay reel plus per-client testimonial videos. We have a studio, guests in the chair every week and a crew. They do not.

Effort MAI lever
Podcast transcripts exist for every session; the bot finds the best 10-second answers by transcript search, Jeremy cuts, the autoposter ships the vertical versions too.
3

A client logo wall

20 to 40 grey logos under the reviews section and on every service page.

Why: Squeeze shows about 45. It is the cheapest trust signal on a page, and our “50+ Happy Clients” counter has no faces behind it.

Effort SAI lever
CRM brand kits already hold the logos; the bot builds the grey-scale set and the strip.
4

A reviews engine and a proof badge in the hero

Auto-ask for a Google review 24 hours after every shoot, tour and episode delivery (SMS and email). Then show “★ 5.0 · 25 Google reviews” in the hero, not only mid-page.

Why: Squeeze has 133 reviews through Birdeye and 100% recommend on Facebook. Review volume is the one place their marketing clearly beats ours.

Effort SAI lever
book_shoot.py and the wecare flows already send post-job messages; add the review ask with the live Gmail signature. The bot tracks who was asked.
5

One primary CTA per path, sticky on mobile

Squeeze uses one yellow “Get Started” everywhere and pins it to the bottom of the phone screen. We have six asks: Book a Studio, Apply for Marketing, See Our Work, Book a Tour, Book a Discovery Call, Get My Free Audit. Keep two paths, Studio and Marketing, one button each, sticky on mobile.

Why: Fewer choices, more clicks. Our mobile homepage is 21,000 px tall (theirs 8,000) with buttons only at the top and bottom.

Effort S
Static site: the bot edits the templates and ships the deploy.
6

“What makes us different”, said in words

Three true, checkable differentiators: four studios under one roof, prices on the page, in-house crew (nothing outsourced). Put the veteran-owned mark on the site and in the Google Business Profile attributes, as Squeeze does.

Why: Squeeze gives visitors three reasons in one glance. G Media makes them infer it from a ten-tile services grid.

Effort S
Copy only. The bot drafts three versions for Luis to pick from.
7

A monthly results carousel on Instagram

One carousel a month: a client, three numbers, before and after. Squeeze’s Galpão “ad spend to real results” carousel is the clearest post on their feed.

Why: Our feed is BTS and opinion; it never shows a number. Results posts also feed the case studies in move 1.

Effort SAI lever
instagram-carousel skill renders 1080x1350 slides from a paragraph; the numbers come from the client reports the bot already compiles.
8

One always-on 45-second brand ad on Meta

Squeeze’s whole paid presence is two short spots with an anti-agency hook and “schedule a call”. Ours: a studio walk-through with Luis or Josh, one line on price transparency, CTA to the free audit or the tour, small daily budget, Las Vegas radius.

Why: It is the only thing Squeeze does that reaches past their followers. We have the footage and the crew; they hired theirs.

Effort SAI lever
Script drafted by the bot from our positioning, clips pulled by transcript; the Ad Library check used here is repeatable for watching what competitors run.
9

A filterable Work page

30+ tiles filterable by service (podcast, brand video, real estate, social, event) and by industry, each opening a short page with embedded reels. Also fix the Social Media Management page, whose “Our Work” block still shows placeholder text.

Why: Squeeze has 31 portfolio items behind 15 filters and it is their Instagram bio link. Our “See Our Work” is an anchor on the homepage.

Effort MAI lever
The content calendar lists every published piece with client, format and URL; the bot generates the tiles and pages from it.
10

Awards, and a little personality

Enter two local awards a year (Vegas Inc, chamber awards, a Telly for video work) and show the badges. Add one or two voice moments like Squeeze’s “(not ourselves)” and the “Don’t Click Here” blog link; our copy is competent but interchangeable.

Why: Five Spark badges do a lot of work on their homepage. Personality is what Luis noticed first about them, and it costs nothing.

Effort SAwards M
The bot tracks award deadlines and drafts entries from the case studies in move 1.
 Do not copy

Three things to leave alone.

✕

The 20-service menu

Package design, print, large format, PR, influencer outreach, email, e-commerce and more. It reads “we do it all”, which is their promise, but it dilutes what they are known for. G Media’s edge is the studio and the crew; our homepage grid already drifts with Web Development, SEO and Paid Ads tiles. Keep those inside a package, not as headline services.

✕

Hidden pricing

Squeeze publishes no prices, no tiers, and shows “Inquire” on every directory. Our $149 first episode, hourly rates, real-estate packages and the pricing guide are the biggest thing we already do better. Keep them.

✕

Their social cadence and dormant channels

1.6 posts a week, caption-first, no talking heads, no hooks, no founder on camera. YouTube untouched for a year, TikTok at 108 followers. G Media posts daily reels with hooks and real people and gets comparable or better engagement on the same follower count. Do not slow down to match them.

02What Squeeze offers

A one-stop shop with no price tag.

Founded

2015 by Brian Gargone and Eric Hinderhofer (ex marketing dept at Island Realty). Michael Gasser, West Point 2006 and a 10-year Army infantry officer, joined as third co-owner and runs SEO. Google lists them as veteran-owned.

Team

3 co-owners + 7 named staff: Creative & Digital Ads Director, Design Director, Website Developer, Social Media Manager, Digital Ads Specialist, Production Manager, Social Media Coordinator. Plus a rolling marketing internship. One office, no studio.

Location

2007 Cherry Hill Lane, Suite B, Charleston, SC 29405. 843.302.6773, info@squeezemarket.com. Older listings still show 49 Archdale St.

Niches

Restaurants and food/beverage (Viva Chicken, Swig & Swine, Low Tide Brewing, Galpão Gaucho, Steel City Pizza), home services (pest, fence, landscaping, auto wash), non-profits and colleges (Citadel, College of Charleston, Charleston Animal Society), and “Squeeze Defense” for defense contractors, SDVOSBs and GovCon firms.

Pricing and guarantee

No prices anywhere. Branding has a “Standard” and a “Deluxe” delivery package on the process page, unpriced. The guarantee is “No contracts. We let our results speak for themselves.” Nothing on refunds or timelines.

Process

Only branding has a published process: Kickoff (survey + call), Logo First Look (black and white), Second Look (color + type), Third Look (finalize + mockups), Delivery (files + simple style guide, copyright transfers when paid), Deluxe Delivery. Nothing for social, ads or web.

The pattern: 3 of 8 case studies carry numbers, and those three do all the work on the homepage. G Media needs three, not eight.

03Website audit · squeezemarket.com

One button, six kinds of proof.

Hero: “Not Your Average MARKETING AGENCY” with a drip on the G, a laptop mockup looping a 20-second video of the team on a shoot, and one yellow GET STARTED. No city, no niche and no outcome in the headline. The page title is “Squeeze Marketing | Full-Service Marketing Agency” and the meta description is generic.

Note the yellow GET STARTED bar pinned to the bottom of Squeeze’s phone screen, and how much longer our page runs.

Homepage, section by section

  • Nav: About Us, Services, Our Work, Careers, GET STARTED (yellow). The blog hides behind a menu item that says “Don’t Click Here”.
  • 1 Hero: headline, looping video in a laptop, one CTA.
  • 2 “We take our work SERIOUSLY! (not ourselves)”: two-line positioning paragraph, cartoon lemon mascot, black to white drip edge.
  • 3 “WHAT DO YOU EVEN DO? Great question. We do it all!”: Creative / Digital / Strategy Venn diagram, three SEE HOW buttons.
  • 4 RECENT WORK: six tiles of website and branding jobs, “view full portfolio”.
  • 5 “OUR RESULTS speak for themselves (and so do our clients)”: autoplay muted YouTube video, then five Spark award badges.
  • 6 OUR CLIENTS: about 45 grey logos.
  • 7 “WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT?” on a yellow band: We do it all / No contracts / No “Marketing Guys”.
  • 8 “WANNA DIG INTO THE NUMBERS?”: button to the case studies, tablet mockups.
  • 9 Footer: social icons (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok), logo, address, phone, Google Partner badge. No email on the page.

CTAs, booking flow, trust

  • One CTA, repeated. GET STARTED everywhere; on mobile it is a fixed yellow bar at the bottom of the screen at all times.
  • Two-step form. Company, Name, Email, Phone, Business Name, Website (optional); then “Tell us about your business and goals” and “How did you hear about Squeeze?” (Facebook/Instagram, Google, Word of Mouth). No calendar, no budget question, no “what happens next”. Posts into HubSpot.
  • No lead magnets. No newsletter, no pricing guide, no free audit. The blog is the only top-of-funnel asset.
  • Trust elements: awards, logos, video, Google Partner badge. No written testimonials on the homepage; quotes live inside case studies and on YouTube.
  • Stack: WordPress, JupiterX theme, Elementor Pro, JetEngine, Google Site Kit, Yoast sitemaps, Meta pixel, HubSpot, SearchAtlas.

Design system

  • Colors: near-black #1D1313, brand yellow #FFF001, white; pink, blue and green only in the Venn diagram. Yellow drip edges between sections.
  • Type: Adobe Typekit “Bilo” for everything (heavy uppercase headlines, italic for “Not Your Average”), plus a custom script wordmark. Hand-drawn annotations and arrows.
  • Imagery: real photos of the team on shoots, laptop and tablet mockups of websites, the lemon mascot, a 20-second .mp4 hero banner, an autoplay YouTube embed in the results section.
  • Voice: jokes in the nav and headers, plain second person, short sentences, consistent from nav to footer.

Page inventory and SEO

  • 11 pages, a “Defense Marketing” niche landing page, 31 portfolio items, 8 case studies, 2 careers pages, 38 blog posts.
  • Schema: Yoast WebPage/Organization graph only. No LocalBusiness, no FAQ, no review markup. The city appears in the address, not in titles.
  • 34 of 38 blog posts were published on 3/5/2026 in one batch (an AI-assisted backfill by the look of it), 4 more that month, nothing since. Generic small-business topics with 3 Charleston-specific posts.
  • No location pages, no service-plus-city pages, no pricing page.

Single-run Chrome measurements on 9/27. Squeeze’s page is heavy (Elementor, 77 images, video) but short and single-purpose. Ours loads faster and runs nearly three times as long.

What makes it convert: the visitor sees six kinds of proof before the second CTA, every button says the same thing, and the personality is consistent enough that “not your average agency” feels earned. Weak spots: no prices, no next-step promise after the form, generic SEO, a stale blog, and case studies with empty metric blocks.

  • The organic post of the same creative (9/15) had 1,422 views, 11 likes and 2 comments, one of them “Are you hiring?”.
  • Two older brand spots on YouTube sit at 26K views each while everything else on the channel is under 700, which points to earlier paid pushes as well.

Reviews and funnels

  • Reviews are collected through Birdeye and they teach it: a blog post and a YouTube tutorial on how to get more Google reviews. 133 reviews vs our 25.
  • Funnel: Instagram bio to portfolio, homepage to Get Started form, form to HubSpot, ads to “schedule a call”. No email list, no lead magnet, no retargeting visible beyond the pixel.
  • Interns: careers and internship pages keep a steady intern supply for social coordination, which is how a 10-person shop posts for 40 clients.
